Carolyn Klein was born in South Central Los Angeles, California. Growing up in a working-class household taught Carolyn the values of hard work and always being true to yourself. These values naturally led to her discovering her love for reading and literature. She attended schools in inner-city LA and embarked on a whirlwind of a career, ranging from secretary to a buyer at an aerospace company. Carolyn also established a successful Wedding Consultant Business and would go on to teach a wedding class in a community college. 

Carolyn has been fortunate and curious enough to have lived in and visited numerous places in the United States and around the world. She has lived on both the East and West coast of America as well as British Colombia in Canada. She and her family have traveled to several countries in Europe and Central America, as well as visiting the several states around where she has lived. The exposure to different cultures and peoples has allowed Carolyn to truly develop her writing style. She is currently retired and lives happily with her husband in Nevada.
